The Pairs Competition at Stonebridge Golf Centre

The pairs competition took place at Stonebridge Golf Centre on 14 October 2025 and was played on both the Blythe and Somers courses. The event saw participation from 36 players, representing 18 different clubs, all vying for victory in a better ball Stableford format.

Rene Greey Trophy played on the 10th October at Stratford Oaks Golf Club

The Rene Greey Trophy was played at Stratford Oaks Golf Club on Friday 10th October where 60 past Lady Captains from 19  Warwickshire golf clubs competed in a foursome stableford for the Rene Greey Trophy. The day was a little cloudy with a hint of drizzle but that didn’t deter the ladies.

Warwickshire Senior Team at Midland Team Championships

Friday 3rd October 2025

The Midland Senior Womens Golf Association Team Championship was held this year at Trentham GC in Staffordshire and for the first time we were playing a new format. Rather than a Greensomes on Day 1 followed by 2 rounds of individual Medal play, we played just 2 rounds as a Better Ball with a change of partners for the 2nd day. Out of our members who are all Warwickshire Seniors we put in 2 teams, 4 in each team and the golf was highly competitive!
