WLCGA Seniors 9 Hole Alliance at North Warwickshire on 1st August 2025
Tuesday 5th August 2025
North Warwickshire again offered ladies a great venue for the seniors 9 hole 3 Ball Alliance Competition. Unfortunately the weather was not so kind. After a pleasant warm start, the heavens opened about half way through the competition which meant nearly all of the ladies got very wet. However this did not deter the enthusiasm and fun of the afternoon.

WLCGA Summer Meeting 24th July 2025

This year the Summer Meeting was held at The Welcombe Hotel Golf Course, Stratford on Avon.
44 players from 16 different Warwickshire clubs played in this event and despite numbers being down on last year, everyone enjoyed their days golf.

Series 2 of the Warwickshire Girls Stableford Series took place on the 29 June at Leamington & County GC on a very hot and steamy day. As the rounds progressed, the day became hotter which made an already hilly course really challenging, but you would not have known it from some remarkable scoring!

The Seniors Championship

The Seniors Championship was held at Shirley Golf Club on July 2nd and was not only a keenly contested competition, but was a very sociable and successful occasion. This was the second year that the ladies played in the morning, followed by the Men’s Senior event in the afternoon making it a very enjoyable day.
