Arianna has amazing run at the Faldo Junior Tour Europe Grand Final!
Arianna together with her younger sister Arisha and Maisie Halstead travelled to play at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club in the UAE last week. All three girls had qualified through winning events in the UK this year. Arianna and Arisha playing in the under 16 age category and Maisie in the under 21 age group. The event hosted 87 of the top players from around the world.
Played over 3 rounds Arianna finished runner up with a total of – 4 with rounds of +1, –1 and –4 (which was the best round of the day) and included a Hole in One!! She played with the eventual winner, Japanese girl, Ai Goto who won with a total –12! It was an incredible experience for Arianna as Ai plans to turn professional soon. Unfortunately only the winners qualify for the Asian Grand Finals in Vietnam.
She finished 3rd overall in all the girls categories including those 21 and under and tied 8th overall, boys and girls included! Outstanding play Arianna!
Maisie in the under 21 age group had very tough opposition but finished very creditably in 13th place. Arisha as one of the youngest in the field at the age of only 13 and in the under 16 group finished in 21st position. What an experience and really well done Arisha!
What a year many of our girls have had in 2025!
