Joyce Nichol Trophy – Monday 22 September 2025.
The Joyce Nichol Trophy, an individual stableford competition, at 95% handicap, was played at Nuneaton Golf Club on Monday 22 September 2025.
A warm welcome on arrival from the Club Manager, Marc Valentine ensured a great start to the day. The Lady Captain, Jean Tomkinson and ladies from Nuneaton supported the running of the event by acting as starter for the event and running the ball sweep. The ball sweep raised £155. A big thank you to all the competitors who gave so generously. The weather was kind; a beautiful, sunny crisp day. The players came back in singing the praises of the course which was in great condition.
Lady Captain, Jean Tomkinson presented Trophies which are Bronze Salvers to each winner in Division 1 and Division 2, they get to have their signatures engraved onto the salvers for posterity.

First place: Patricia Grant, Copt Heath Golf Club, 38 points.
Second place: Jennifer Kentish, Copt Heath Golf Club, 37 points.
Third place: Julie Skipp, Shirley Golf Club, 34 points.

First place: Maureen Hawkins, Nuneaton Golf Club, 38 points.
Second place: Dee Mallon, Shirley Golf Club, 34 points
Third place: Janet Burgoyne, Nuneaton Golf Club with 32 points.
