The last of the Stableford Series for 2017 was played at Leamington & County Golf Club on Sunday 15 October 2017. It was a beautiful sunny day, and even with a chill wind, it was still a wonderful day for the month of October. The girls were very complimentary about the course and they all enjoyed their game and once again the scores were very good
Grateful thanks must go to the ladies at Leamington & County with special thanks going to Julie FORD, Ladies Captain, who co-ordinated all the helpers accompanying the girls round the course. These ladies made sure that the girls’ correctly followed the Rules of Golf, and that the recording of scores was correct and the cards were signed and properly completed.
In the 18 hole Competition, the winner was Maisie HALSTEAD from Kenilworth Golf Club, playing off 26 who scored 38 points and won on count back from Victoria BEARD, Shirley Golf Club, playing off 24 and who also scored 38 points. In third place was Phoebe MACHIN from Kenilworth Golf Club playing off 36 and scoring 34 points.
In the 9 hole competition the winner was Grace TOPPING from Leamington & County Golf Club, playing off 53, who scored 18 points followed by Rebecca SANDOZ from Moor Hall Golf Club, playing off 44, who scored 14 points .
In the 6 hole competition the winner was Justine BUHOUR from The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club, playing off 54, who scored 18 points and the runner up was Arianna VIRIK, also playing off 54, from Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club who scored 14 points
