Warwickshire Girls Championship closely fought at Copt Heath Golf Club!

The Girls Championship was always going to be a battle between Maisie Halstead and Serafima Taylor with both girls having achieved great success this year. Maisie is our current Ladies County Champion and also heads to Dubai in November having secured a place in the Faldo Series Final and Serafima has recently won the English U16 title.

Arianna has enjoyed an outstanding few weeks in Scotland! Many of you will have seen on Facebook that she won the Under-Rated event with a score of -2 after 2 rounds but she has done far more than just this!

WLCGA Seniors 9 Hole Alliance at North Warwickshire on 1st August 2025
Tuesday 5th August 2025
North Warwickshire again offered ladies a great venue for the seniors 9 hole 3 Ball Alliance Competition. Unfortunately the weather was not so kind. After a pleasant warm start, the heavens opened about half way through the competition which meant nearly all of the ladies got very wet. However this did not deter the enthusiasm and fun of the afternoon.

Warwickshire's Serafima Taylor wins National Girls Championship!

Serafima Taylor (Sutton Coldfield) celebrates victory at the 2025 English Girls’ Under 16 Championship on a weather-affected final day at Old Fold Manor Golf Club.
The Championship took place over 3 days from 29 - 31 July 2025.

WLCGA Summer Meeting 24th July 2025
Sunday 27th July 2025
This year the Summer Meeting was held at The Welcombe Hotel Golf Course, Stratford on Avon.
44 players from 16 different Warwickshire clubs played in this event and despite numbers being down on last year, everyone enjoyed their days golf.
