VETS' CHAMPIONSHIP AT WALMLEY

The Vets Championship was held at Walmley Golf Club on Friday 30th June.  48 Ladies played in sunny conditions on an immaculately presented course, although from comments from some of the players,  the pin positions were difficult.  Certainly no-one burnt the course up, but there were some good scores posted.  The CSS on the day was 75.

The winner of the Championship trophy was Pat HALE from Edgbaston.

Best GROSS, Bronze Division - Miss Griffiths Trophy - Alison SEYMOUR MEAD (Kenilworth GC) - 93    

Best GROSS, 65 and over    -    Liz MOVERLEY (Copt Heath GC)    -    90 

Best NETT, 65 and over    -    Catherine MIDGLEY (Kenilworth GC)    -    77     

The Vets President, Jane BETTS thanked the Lady Captain, Loretta TAMBE and all from Walmley who helped in making the day run smoothly and also thanked the Club for their hospitality.
