PREPARATION FOR COUNTY MATCH WEEK
WLGCA Team news for this year so far
WLCGA 1st Team have played two friendly matches in preparation for County Match Week. First match was against Derbyshire played at Moor Hall Golf Club. After winning the foursomes 2/1 they unfortunately lost the singles 4/2 giving Derbyshire an overall win 5/4.
Second match was at The Leicestershire Golf Club against Leicestershire & Rutland. The morning foursomes proved to be very successful winning all 3 matches but again they struggled with the singles but still managed to win the 2 matches they needed for a 5/4 win.
2nd Team won the friendly match against the Warwickshire Vets but unfortunately not able to play friendly match against Staffordshire. League match against Northamptonshire was lost 8/1
