Having lost the trophy match against Staffordshire 1^st team earlier in the season, we were determined to make amends with the 2^nd team match.

A fabulous day greeted us at Coventry Hearsall Golf Club on Monday 22^nd September 2014.

The opposition fielded a strong team and all matches were played in a friendly and competitive manner, but a very determined Warwickshire side came out on top by winning 6 ½ matches to 1 ½

The following players made their debut for Warwickshire: Ann Gilmore, Jane Brennan, Jane Adams and Alison Tyler, who all produced good golf and will hopefully be available for next years matches.

The after match meal was well accepted and Coventry Hearsall Golf Club were very accommodating and a good day was had by all.
