WVLGA v Gloucestershire at Lilley Brook Golf Club on Monday 24th July 2023
What an adventure we didn’t need! Road closures near the club sent people on detours which caused late arrivals and with an early morning pull out, pairings and times were changed at the last minute.
The weather was wet and miserable during the drive down but improved as the day went on. Lilley Brook was in lovely condition and the hills on the back 9 afforded some fantastic views and helped us build up an appetite for a tasty meal.
I think the challenges inspired us as Warwickshire won 5-3.
