WVLGA 1 v Staffs 1 at Leamington & County Golf Club on Monday 5th June 2023
The weather was dry and the sun eventually came out but it was an uphill battle for Warwickshire Vets against a very strong Staffordshire team in our first Tri-County Trophy of the season. Although some of the matches were very close Warks lost 6 1/2 – 1 1/2
Thanks to everyone at Leamington Golf Club, the course played extremely well and we all enjoyed the competitive spirit of the matches.
Kelly Naylor (Oakridge) played in her first match and colours were awarded to Gillian Curley.
