WVLGA 1 v Leicester/ Rutland 1 at Kenilworth GC on Wednesday 21st May ‘23
The weather was cold for the end of May and woolly hats and mittens were in evidence.
There should have been 8 pairs per team but Leics/Rutland were a player short so their captain played on her own. The matches were friendly but competitive and the results were close.
The course at Kenilworth, especially the fairways was in excellent condition and the match was followed by a very tasty meal. An email of thanks was sent to Kenilworth to show our appreciation.
Warwickshire won 5 1/2 – 2 1/2 and colours were awarded to Sarah Bush.
