Junior Girls v WVLGA at Coventry Hearsall on Sunday 23rd May 2021
The WLCGA Captain Veronique Lintin presented the new Junior Captain Lilly Phelps with her Captain's badge before play.
This friendly match took place again amidst sun and showers. As usual the girls beat us convincingly 5-1. However, it was a joy to watch those young ladies hit the ball. Playing in her first vets match Cheryl Turner was in our only winning pair!
After the match I awarded colours to Lesley James and Lynn Seward.
