Hereford & Worcestershire ll v WVLGA at Moseley Golf Club on Tuesday 13th July 2021
After heavy rain showers as we arrived at Moseley, the sun decided to come out once we started our matches.
Moseley is a tough track, with some long carries over water or reeds etc. Some very undulating fairways and slopes to negotiate make it such an interesting course.
Unfortunately for Warks, the Worcestershire ladies seemed to manage the conditions better than us, as only 2 of our matches resulted in a win, although many of the other matches were close.
This was the first of our Tri County trophy matches (with shots) - the winning county will receive the Morgan Trophy, after the matches against Staffs ll have been completed.
The final score was a win to Hereford & Worcs 6 : 2 We will need a good win in our next Tri County match against Staffs.
On the bright side - we had a lovely lunch at Moseley! Colours wwers awarded to Wendy McIntyre
