WARWICKSHIRE VETS v LEICS & RUTLAND 1
Monday 20th May 2019 at Cosby GC
Today’s match was played in sunshine and good spirits against Leicestershire I at Cosby GC, which is not a long course but good course management was needed. The Captain, Ann, welcomed us to Cosby with the President, Kate also playing. Gill thanked her team for playing, in particular Lesley James and Bev Coleman who had stepped in at the last minute when two players had to withdraw through injury.
Colours were awarded to Jane Murphy and Bev Coleman, and playing their first matches for WVLGA were Sarah Bush (Leamington) and Lesley James (Robin Hood). We had a friendly 4-4 draw.
