WVLGA v WARWICKSHIRE SENIOR MEN on MONDAY 23rd September 2019
The match today was played in excellent spirits at Walmley. The course was in very good condition which contributed to the enjoyment of the day. Most of the players did manage to finish their matches before the rain started in earnest! It was Gill’s last match as Captain and Liz (Woolf’s) as President. A convivial meal was enjoyed in the clubhouse where the Bretherton Cup was presented to Gill Thorpe, WVLGA Captain, as the ladies had won by 4 matches to 2.
