How quickly a year passes, when once again the Past Lady Captains of Warwickshire Golf Clubs are competing for the prestigious Rene Greey Trophy. The venue for 2012 was Coventry Hearsall GC and the competition took place on Monday 8th October.
Heavy rain had been forecast for Monday but the players all managed to escape getting wet as the rain came down when they were in the comfort of the clubhouse! 22 Warwickshire clubs had put forward one or sometimes two pairs to play in the competition in Foursomes Stableford format and after playing, all stayed for an excellent lunch prior to the Prize Presentation.
Once again the prizes were generously donated by Rudell the Jewellers and the County are delighted that they have continued with their support.
