Midlands South Junior Girls County Finals 2025
The Midlands South Junior Girls Finals were held at Kirtlington Golf Club in Oxfordshire, with both Scratch Teams and Handicap Teams competing.
Scratch Team
Warwickshire Girls v Buckinghamshire contested for the Midland South Scratch Team Cup. We were grateful to Oxfordshire County for arranging the match this year. The course was challenging as it played like a links because of the very dry conditions on a very breezy day sunny with a rainstorm near the end of the match. The matches were close, and we came out as victors against a strong Bucks Team and won the Midlands South Scratch Team Trophy for the first time in 13 years – Congratulations a top performance Team Warwickshire!
Handicap Team
Warwickshire Girls v Berkshire contested for the Midland South Handicap Team Cup. The matches were close, but Berkshire pipped us at the post to take the Midland South Handicap Trophy but what a great experience and achievement it was for the Warwickshire Girls.
