The WLCGA Seniors Spring Betterball competition got the season off to a fantastic start.
It was a glorious sunny day and Moor Hall Golf Course was stunning. The conditions made it very easy to drop into one of their many bunkers and also made the greens very tricky.
Everyone at Moor Hall went above and beyond to make sure that the day was a great success, and the atmosphere in the clubhouse reflected that welcome. 104 ladies played and whether a good golfing day or not, the comments received were very positive and everyone seemed to really enjoy the day.
Annette Cole, Moor Hall Vice Captain, welcomed everyone, and Lesley James, WLCGA Seniors Captain thanked everyone for their welcome, their contribution to a very enjoyable and successful event and presented the prizes as follows:
The winners were:
Overall Winners and Winners of the Ellie Scott Salvers: Elizabeth Smith and Helen Beston from Olton Golf Club with 49 points
