Dick Ferry
Yesterday we received the sad news that Dick Ferry, our former Junior Chairman had died on 24th June.
We understand from Ian, his son, that after a period of illness, Dick passed away peacefully in a Nursing Home. Dick was a very successful ambassador for many years in the County and particularly when it came to Junior Golf. The success that Dick achieved during his time with the Junior Teams has not been surpassed since. He had a rare expertise of identifying young golfing talent and then guiding that talent through all the representative County Teams.
He will be missed by many and our thoughts are with his wife Terry and his son Ian .
