England Golf: Bar and dining facilities within clubhouses must close
England Golf has provided further advice for golf clubs and golfers on Coronavirus (COVID-19), following the latest government update on March 20th.
These directives include:
- All bars and dining facilities within clubhouses must now shut, with immediate effect.
- Golf clubs should also carefully consider whether other areas of their facilities, such as toilets, locker rooms, professional shops or other places where golfers may gather can remain open.
- Presently there is no advice to close golf courses. But if this guidance changes, it will be communicated through the various media channels. So please keep in touch for further information.
- Golf clubs and facilities may consider offering food and beverage takeaway services in line with government and public health rules.
