JOINT WINNERS FOR BRONZE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
JOINT WINNING TEAMS 
Edgbaston Golf Club was the venue for the 2019 Warwickshire Bronze Team Championship on Monday 20th May. The weather was fine throughout the day and the course looked stunning and as the winners stated later, this is a fantastic course which was a pleasure to play.
Format of the day was that Teams of 4 players from the Bronze Division were entered to play by Clubs affiliated to Warwickshire County Ladies Golf Association and today there were 14 Clubs participating. Each player played a Stableford competition, and when all scores were in, only the best 3 scores submitted counted towards the final points score to give the outright winning Team. There is also a trophy and prize for the best Individual score.
As happens in many competitions, early starters, in this case Walmley ladies, posted a score of 100 points and this held right up until the final card came in, also making a Team score of 100 points, thus giving a tie between Walmley ladies and ladies from The Warwickshire. The rules were checked and first decision was to check scores for each of fourth player in each Team, to no avail as the score was the same!! Thus the Trophy and prizes were presented to both Walmley GC and The Warwickshire GC Teams, to share over the next 12 months.

At the Prize Presentation, Issy Bartram, a Board member of WLCGA presented prizes to the following Winners, after she had thanked the Lady Captain of Edgbaston for all her help and that of other members both today and previously:
