ABI IS THE 2018 CHAMPION AT HER FIRST ATTEMPT!
Champion 2018: Abi MORTIMER LANE
Champion: Abigail MORTIMER-LANE Runner Up: Charlotte PRIDDLE
After two gruelling days of golf and a thrilling Final between Abigail MORTIMER-LANE from Rugby GC and Charlotte PRIDDLE from Moor Hall GC, Abi emerged as the Champion. Ladbrook Park Greens staff had pulled out all the stops in preparing an excellent course with very fast but true greens but it was still quite hard on the players with the course being so wet after the amount of rain that had recently fallen.
Playing in every session over the two days Abi had shown true grit and determination and was crowned Warwickshire Ladies County Champion. It was good to witness as Abi has been within the County umbrella for many years, starting in the Junior section. 2018 is the first County Championship Abi has entered so let us hope that this win will be the first of many.
