Current ladies captain Marie ANDREWS welcomed players to the course and her Vice Captain, Meg SWINBOURNE acted as a marker on the day for one of the pairings. 70 players took part in this annual event for Club Past Captains and they enjoyed glorious conditions with many commenting on the superb condition and presentation of the course. The format was Foursomes Stableford, which often presents a challenging game!! On a sad note, on Sunday 2nd Octoiber a former past captain of Ladbrook Park passed away at the age of 99 - Peggy TREADWELL.
The previous years' winners came a valiant second, just failing to defend their title by 2 points. The ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Laura and her team.
