WARWICKSHIRE GIRLS v WARWICKSHIRE VETS
A great day was had at Leamington and County on Sunday 5th May for the match
between the WLCGA Junior girls and the Warwickshire Vets. The match was
played in great spirit with some exceptional golf from all involved. The
girls team was led by Grace Wilkinson (Coventry Hearsall) the Junior Captain
who played with 9 year old Arianna Virik (Kenilworth) and they had an
exciting win 2up to help the Juniors to a 4 and a half to 1 and a half
victory.

Other highlights included a superb birdie 2 from Victoria Beard on
the 18th who had played a fantastic match ably supported by 12 year old
Maisie Halstead winning 2up on 18.

The girls conducted themselves beautifully and Warwickshire Captain Julia
Burton was immensely proud of them as always. A huge thank you to the Vets
and also to Leamington and County GC.
