Inter Club Pairs 16 October at Harborne Golf Club
The Inter Club Pairs Competition was held on Monday 16 October at Harborne Golf Club. The format was an 18 hole Better Ball Stableford. The players are entered by the clubs affiliated to WLCGA. One player must be from the Silver Division (max HI 20.4) and the other player must be from the Bronze Division (HI 20.5-45.0). Clubs are requested to run a qualifying competition, which may be played in conjunction with a club competition, in order to select the pair.
It was a particularly cold morning but we were very lucky that the sun came out for us and the rain stayed away.
A huge thank you to Harborne Golf Club for allowing us to run this competition and to the Lady Captain, Debbie Naylor, for all her help running this event. A big thank you to all the helpers on the day. Debbie for being the starter, Nicky for running the ball sweep which raised £54 for our Junior Girls, Kirsty and Janet for ball spotting on the 2nd and 13th and to Mary Fraise for marking the last players' card. Also, thank you to the green staff for presenting the course beautifully, to the bar and catering staff for looking after us all. Everyone made this event a success!
