December Alliance at North Warwickshire Golf Club
A cold dry day at North Warwickshire Golf Club saw 36 ladies compete for this month’s Winter Alliance.
There were some great scores coming in that most months would be winning scores but with the hard ground the ball was going much further than usual and the ladies made the most of this.
The winners on the day were Jo Evans & Jenny Kentish from Copt Heath Golf Club, they said that when they went out they wished they hadn’t put their names down, however, once they got going and sank a good putt on the first hole they soon got going and admitted to having a lot of luck with the putting. They certainly had huge smiles on their faces when they collected their winner’s prizes having scored 45 points.
In second place with an excellent 39 points were Ann Hawkswood & Gillian Farquhar from Coventry Hearsall Golf Club.
Well done to the prize winners and a huge thank you to all the ladies who played on the day.
