Ladies AGM Saturday 19 November 2022

The WLCGA AGM was held at Shirley Golf Club on 19 November 2022.

19 clubs were represented with 44 ladies attending plus 12 committee members.

Reports were presented by County President, Bobbi Waugh, County Captain, Skye Furnace & Handicap Adviser, Claire Barker. Lesley Duff presented the Treasurer's annual report.

Bobbi retires this year and was presented with a lovely gift of appreciation by Skye, on behalf of the WLCGA.

Rachel Rusted, new Vice-Captain.

 

 

Unfortunately, there have been no nominations for a new president.

However, Rachel Rusted was elected unopposed as Vice Captain.

Chris Brown, the recently appointed Secretary of the  Warwickshire Golf Union, was invited to attend the meeting.

He said that he is very hopeful that the Union and the Association will work well together starting with a joint boys and girls Championship in 2023.
