VET'S PAST PRESIDENTS & CAPTAINS LUNCH

On the day following the successful Vet's AM AM, Shirley Golf Club was once again the venue for a luncheon arranged for Lady Past Presidents and Past Captains of the Warwickshire Vets.
Some 14 of us assembled for this lunch, instigated by retiring President Val Barker and it was good to have a mix of recent Captains and Presidents together with some who had been in post as far back as 1995. Introductions were made as some ladies did not know who others were and then an excellent lunch followed. Much noise and hilarity was the order of the day and we all agreed the Warwickshire Vets (WVLGA) is a really good Association to belong to as it has brought us much pleasure over the years. Currently we have some 600 members from within Warwickshire Clubs and this number is growing annually.
