LISA BARTON IS VET'S CHAMPION 2022
After having an excellent run at the Warwickshire County Championship over many years, in 2022 Lisa Barton from Coventry GC joined Warwickshire Vets. Guess what, at her first attempt on Monday 27th June, Lisa became Vets Champion - the first of many I do believe. Congratulations to you Lisa and welcome to the Vets.
The Championship this year was held at Nuneaton Golf Club, an excellent venue which was presented beautifully on the day with players enjoying the challenge. Thank you to Nuneaton for the help and assistance prior to and during the event. your help was much appreciated. Some excellent scores were recorded and the 42 players had a most enjoyable day. It gave the Committee such pleasure that so many of the players remained for the Prize Presentation and particulary that all of the Prize winners on the day were there to collect their trophies and winnings. After all the work that is put in by your Committee, that makes it all worthwhile.
