Warwickshire Junior Girls Captain
At the start of the season, we were pleased to announce our new Junior Captain, Lilly Phelps to the girls and thanks must go to Veronique Lintin, the 1st Team Captain, who presented Lilly with her Captain’s Badge and the ‘Most Worthy Trophy’ for 2020. Two of our youngest players, aged just 10 years old, were also announced as playing for the County for the first time.
Lilly presented an inspirational response to the girls when she announced that she had once been in their position, very nervous at her first game for County and wishing that one day she might be Team Captain – with dedication it can be achieved.
