WLCGA Bronze Division Team Competition
The Bronze Team event, for those with handicaps between 20.5 and 45.0, was played at Olton Golf Club on Monday, 7 June 2021.
Teams representing 14 clubs were entered from all over the county, as far away as Rugby and Stratford, as well as those from Birmingham, Coventry and surrounds.
This high scoring Stableford team event was won by Whitefields Golf Club with 109 points with the winning individual score of 39 points by Angela Danby, also from Whitefields, narrowly beating Denise Delahunty from Shirley Golf Club on count back on the last three holes.
The sun shone for us and everyone commented on the stunning condition of the course. Thank you to the Olton ladies who made us very welcome and surpassed themselves in hosting this popular competition. The ball sweep raised £79.00 which goes towards our junior girls development.
The trophies were presented by our County President, Bobbi Waugh.
