In the last friendly of the year, the girls played their match against Leicestershire & Rutland on a sunny afternoon on Sunday 17th August. Great support was received from Coventry Hearsall GC, who were hosting the match and special thanks went to Lesley Duff, Ladies Vice Captain and Geoff Edwards, Club President for giving up a Sunday afternoon and welcoming the girls to the club.
The course was in excellent condition and it was decided to play 3 matches in a Foursomes format and the last 3 girls to play together in a Stableford. County Captain, Karen Hearn acted as started for the day.
The result was a win for Warwickshire 3 games to 0 in the Foursomes and a win for Amelia Machin in the Stableford with 32 points.
