The weather was hot and sunny for the second warm up match played at Ashbourne Golf Club in Derbyshire. Unfortunately, the greens had not quite reached their best presenting both teams with significant challenges.
Derbyshire held their advantage from the turn in the morning Foursomes to lead 3 - 1 at lunchtime whilst Warwickshire had the edge in the afternoon Singles but 3 wins and 3 halves left them 1/2 point short of levelling the match, losing overall 5 1/2 to 6 1/2.
