The Warwickshire girls v Northamptonshire girls match was held at Leamington & County Golf Club on Sunday, 15th June 2025. We are grateful to Leamington for hosting the match and for organising the course marshal to start the girls off on the first tee.
The weather was good but very windy and the course was in excellent condition creating a challenge for the girls. The Warwickshire girls played well & fought hard but narrowly lost 3.2 against a strong Northamptonshire scratch team (games 1-5). The handicap team played well (games 6-10) to secure a 3/2 win over Northamptonshire securing a place in the Midlands South Region Finals in August for a second time running.
The match was played in great spirits and the all the girls enjoyed the day. The overall score was 5/5 an admirable tie.
