WLCGA Senior Ladies and Seniors Men at Stratford Oaks Friday 3rd October 2025 

The WLCGA Senior Ladies ended the 2025 season with a 4 ball AM -AM competition alongside the Senior Men, at Stratford Oaks Golf Club. 

The draw for teams took place on the morning of the event with two ladies and two gentlemen in each team, any two scores to count on each hole. 

Despite the dreadful wind and rain, courtesy of Storm Amy, everyone battled on and completed the full 18 holes. All who played deserved a medal!. 

The competition was followed by after match drinks and a buffet kindly paid for by the Warkwickshire Men.  

The atmosphere in the club house was friendly and there was positive feedback regarding the new Am-Am format. 

The winners were the team of Jane Frith, Sharon Butler, Ian Stranks and Roger Parfit with 85 points. 

The Runners Up were Vice Captain Teresa Wright, Carol O Hare, Nick Coleman, and Phil Bishop with 79 Points. 

WLCGA Captain Lesley James thanked Mark Reynolds, Captain on the day, for his help with organising the competition and the Warkwickshire Men for their generous hospitality. 

It was a lovely way to end the season.
