WLCGA Seniors 1st Team v Staffordshire 1st Team Tri Counties Match
Monday 2nd June 2025 at Walmley Golf Club
On Monday 2 nd June Walmley Golf Club hosted the Tri County Glass Trophy match v Staffordshire 1st Team.
Staffordshire fielded a very strong team of single figure handicappers but Warks battled hard and the final result of a 5-3 win to Staffs was ,
on reflection, an acceptable score under the circumstances.

Staffordshire, having already beaten Hereford and Worcestershire 1st Team, retained the Tri County Glass Trophy.
Both teams enjoyed a lovely post match meal and it was good to share cross county stories with some familiar faces.
We will aim for the Glass Trophy next year.
