MATCH REPORT WVLGA V OXFORDSHIRE @ WALMLEY Golf Club on Monday 9th May 2022
Another fine day for a match! Walmley was looking well presented except for the building work on the clubhouse.
Val Barker, our President was once again in situ on the first tee to see off all the teams. Such a nice touch.
We had only 7 teams as Oxfordshire was unable to field 8. I was not due to play but Deb Reynolds was feeling a little jaded, so I joined Annette Bucknall as first team out.
We had 3 debutantes… Tina Lewis from North Warwickshire, Jackie Simons from Shirley and Sharon Clutterbuck also from Shirley.
Everyone enjoyed their day out and we had some lovely comments from the Oxfordshire ladies.
Warwickshire won 4 matches drew 2 and lost 1, so a win for WVLGA 5/1
