Ladies and Girls Tournaments

County Championship

Open to FULL members of WLCGA.  Two 18 hole qualifying rounds played on one day.  Sixteen players with the leading gross scores over 36 holes qualify for match play knockout.  Handicap Limit 20

Senior County Championship

Open to full and associate members of WLCGA who are 50 or over on the day of the championship.  18 hole stroke play for gross trophy.  Played in conjunction with the first round of the County Championship.  Handicap Limit 20

Silver Division Medal

Open to full and associate members of WLCGA.  18 hole stroke play for net trophy.  Played in conjunction with the first round of the County Championship.  Handicap Limit 20

Summer Meeting

Open to full and associate members of WLCGA.  Four Ball Better Ball.  Handicap Limit 36

Joyce Nichol Trophies

Open to full and associate members of WLCGA.  18 hole Stableford.  Trophies awarded to the leading players in two divisions. Silver Division - Handicap Limit 20, Bronze Division - Handicap Limit 21-36

Girls Tournaments

Open to full and associate members of WLCGA who are under 18 years of age on 1 January

Girls Championship

Two 18 hole qualifying rounds of stroke play played on one day.  Handicap limit 36.

Girls Age Group Championships

Played in conjunction with the first round of the Girls Championship.  Handicap limit 36.  Age groups:  Under 18 and not playing in the Girls Championship, Under 16 and Under 14.

Girls Stableford Series

Three Stableford competitions played during the summer months.  Handicap limit 36.  Series points are awarded to the leading players after each competition.  The winner of the Series is the player with the highest number of Series points from two competitions.

Girls 9 hole Stableford competitions

A 9 hole Stableford competition is played on the day of each round of the Stableford Series for players with Club Handicaps of 37 - 54.

Inter Club Team Competitions

Inter Club Team Championship

Teams of five players.  18 holes Stroke Play.  Handicap Limit 30.  Aggregate of score by each team member for gross and net trophies.

Inter Club Bronze Team Competition

Teams of four Bronze Division players.  18 holes Stableford.  Handicap limit 21-36.  Aggregate of score by three of the team members (lowest score discarded) for best team score trophy and a prize for best individual score

Rene Greey Trophy

Competition for players who are Past Captains of golf clubs affiliated to WLCGA.  18 holes Foursomes Stableford.  Handicap limit 36

Winter Alliances

Winter Alliance competitions are held each month from November to March.  Clubs enter one team per alliance.  18 holes Greensome Stableford.  Combined handicap limit 60 on date of entry.  No couple may play together more than once during the season.
