Wishaw

High-handicapper Tony Rogers bagged three gross birdies in Wishaw’s February Saturday Medal as he fired a brilliant round of net 49 to finish five ahead of Brian Clements.

The first division went to Darren Whitehouse (58) on countback from Stephen Hollis and David Franklin, thanks to a two-over-par back nine.

The February Extra Stableford also witnessed some excellent scores 24 hours later as Nathan Barratt (48 points) and Mark Smith (46) topped the two divisions.

Copsewood Grange

Inderyes Nahar carded a birdie two on the closing hole to secure victory in the first round of the Winter Stableford Carlin Series at Copsewood Grange.

A tally of 45 points pushed the 15-handicapper one ahead of Richard Albrighton and Neal Plummer, with Robert Oddy and Martin Tanner (both 42) next.

Bramcote Waters

Back-to-back pars on the closing two holes from Stuart Wright at Bramcote Waters capped a fine display in the February Medal as the 23-handicapper bagged top spot with 41 points.

Nick Gilks secured second place on countback from Paul Remorini (37) with the help of two birdies towards the start of the back nine.

Leamington and County

Sarah Bush was the most consistent player in Leamington and County’s Ladies Five Club Competition as she grabbed 24 points over 15 holes. Anne Clark (20) finished runner-up on countback from Alison McLean.

Pype Hayes

One shot was the margin of victory in the opening Medal of the year at Pype Hayes as Anthony McCann took the honours from Stuart Jones, Nick Dymond and Robert Moore.

The first Shaggies Medal witnessed an exceptional round of net 63 from Robert Cruise as he finished half a dozen strokes ahead of Bob Walmsley.

Stoneleigh Deer Park

A run of two birdies and four pars in a seven-hole burst either side of the turn at Stoneleigh Deer Park sent Phil Youett on the way to a dominant victory in the Stags Three Club Challenge.

The 19-handicapper smashed an impressive tally of 41 points to finish 10 clear of closest challengers David Spillane and Malcolm Lunn.

The Henley

Paul Fisher produced a strong finish to win the February Stableford at The Henley by one point from Ian Powell (33), with Eddie Hodgkiss and Daniel Payne (both 31) further off the pace.

Warwick

Lee Webb carded six pars, plus a birdie on the sixth hole, over nine holes at Warwick to win the February Stableford by two points from Rob Buckingham (19).
