Whitefields
Robert Janczak beat Richard Copson in the January Medal at Whitefields after the two 19-handicappers both carded the best round of net 69.
Duncan Gardner (71) finished third on countback from Ellis Roberts, who maintained his good form into the Extra Stableford as he triumphed by one point from Richard Gray and Sam Guest.
Hatchford Brook
Paul Simpson was the standout performer in the Hatchford Brook January Sunday Stableford as his tally of 39 points lifted him clear of Daniel Smith.
North Warwickshire
Countback was needed in the top division of North Warwickshire’s January Stableford after three players came in with the leading score of 38 points.
Pars on the last three holes proved decisive for Jack Carwardine as he edged out Paul Smith and Neil Hopkins. The lower handicap category went to Paul Gregory (36).
Pype Hayes
Martin Mallett kept his nerve in the 36-hole Rapid Safety Competition to comfortably hold off the challenge of John Cahill at Pype Hayes.
After posting a magnificent opening round of 48 points, Mallett hammered home his advantage with a tally of 41 to finish four clear of Cahill, with Andrew Beech taking third on 82.
Windmill Village
Bernie Boyd and George Albrighton were successful in the Windmill Village Winter Two Ball Texas Scramble as they gained a countback victory from Kevin Arnold and Chris Simmonds on 34 points.
