THIRD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FOR LISA BARTON!

1      2       3

5        6       7

After 2 gruelling days of golf and a thrilling final between Charlotte PRIDDLE and Lisa BARTON, Lisa emerged as the Champion for the third time since 2011, which is some record.  The Moor Hall course had played extremely well over the full three days of the Championship, especially the greens which were excellent to putt on, even with their nuances and the rain took nothing away from the surfaces.  The three days had been a great success, with three new Junior Girls making their mark and all other players contributing well, even though many found it difficult to score on Day One!!

At the Prize Presentation, Moor Hall Lady Captain Anne BELL gave a belated welcome stating how pleased and honoured everyone at Moor Hall had been to host this prestigious event.  She was then given a plant as a 'thank you' for all her efforts over the three days.  County President, Anne PARRY thanked Anne and Moor Hall for the welcome everyone had been given and special thanks must be given to the Greens Staff for all their hard work in presenting the course so beautifully.

The Prize Presentation for Monday's event, together with the knockout prizes then followed:
