GIRLS SUCCESSES IN MIDLANDS SOUTH TEAM COMPETITION
On Monday 30th July, 6 of our girls represented Warwickshire at Bicester Golf and Country Club for the Midland South Team event. After a weekend of heavy rain the temperature was perfect and the girls were set for a great day.
First off was Phoebe ANDERSON and Jessica McGHEE (both of Rugby GC) bringing in a very tidy 33 and 30 points quickly followed by Sonia SEKHON (The Warwickshire GC) with 35 points, Megan GEE (Maxstoke Park GC) with 36 points and then Victoria BEARD (Shirley GC) with a brilliant 38 points. With 5 solid scores already in Grace WILKINSON (Coventry Hearsall GC) returned a marvellous 41 points to lead Warwickshire to the Team win.
Grace also won the individual prize with that score - congratulations to both Grace and the other team members for a great day's play.
