KATIE DREW TAKES GIRLS' SCHOOLS TITLE

The 2018 Warwickshire Schools Tournament was held at Walmley Golf Club on Monday Monday 9th April where both boys and girls were represented. Three new champions took home the titles at the first Junior Championship of 2018 with Walmley providing a proper test for the 40+ competitors looking to go on to Midland and England finals.
The Girls Championship went to Katie DREW with a gross 85 who represented both St. Peters School and Ladbrook Park GC. It was a comfortable win over Roxanne LINDSAY (St Peters and Coventry GC). Katie will now lead the Warwickshire Girls Team at the Midland Schools with another place to be announced shortly.
Members and Directors of Walmley Golf Club were sincerely thanked for hosting the 2018 Schools. The course was in excellent condition considering the weather that we have had and the catering and bar staff were wonderful.
