VETS 9 HOLE ALLIANCE

The second Vets 9 hole 3 Ball Alliance was held on Wednesday 26^th July, 2017, again at North Warwickshire Golf Club. This year 36 ladies took part, arriving at the course in a steady rain which did not let up until later in the afternoon. Everyone, however, went out and played their 9 holes and enjoyed the course.

The winners with 42 points were a team from Walmley Golf Club comprising Margaret RILEY, Sue HART, and Mave MENDUS. The runners up with 38 Points were Lynn SEWARD, Linda ILES and Susan KOSNIEWSKI all from Oakridge Golf Club. The prizes were presented by Jane BETTS, President WVLGA who particularly complimented the Oakridge team as they are new members playing in their first Vets competition.

Our thanks go to North Warwickshire Golf Club for a very warm welcome and for help in planning this event and for the tea and delicious cakes that were served after the game.
