The second of the Stableford Series was played at Maxstoke Park Golf Club on Sunday 11 June 2017. It was a dry, very windy day but the girls didn’t seem to notice and the scoring was magnificent.. The course was lovely with lots of run on the ball and thanks as always should go to the greenkeepers for presenting the course in such good condition.
Grateful thanks also to Barbara Woolley, Ladies Captain and her team for their help before and during the competition.
In the 18 hole Competition, Amelia MACHIN from Kenilworth Golf Club playing off 25 scored 41 points and Zara HOUGHTON from Cope Heath Golf Club playing off 34 was the runner up ( count back on back 9) scoring 39 points. In the 9 hole competition the winner was Tia HAYES from Stratford on Avon Golf Club playing off 39 and scoring 17 points and the runner up was Rebecca SANDOZ from Moor Hall Golf Club playing off 38 who scored 13 points
In the 9 hole competition (Playing off the Blue Course – 1938 yds)) the winner was Lily KNEE from Leamington & County Golf Club playing off 54.who scored 19 points and the runner up was Molly MOFFATT playing off 54 from Maxstoke Park Golf Club who scored 18 points.
