KENILWORTH PAIR ARE BETTER BALL WINNERS

The first Vet's competition of the 2017 season, a better ball stableford was held at Maxstoke Park Golf Club on Monday 24th April. After the lovely warm weather we have been having the conditions came as a bit of a shock. It was cold with blustery windy showers, but there were some sunny intervals.
104 ladies braved the elements with some very good scores being returned.
1st with a great score of 43 points were Catherine MIDGLEY and Karen MCKENNA of Kenilworth GC

The Vets President Jane Betts thanked the Men’s Captain of Maxstoke Drew Dickie and the Lady Captain Barbara Woolley and all from Maxstoke Park who had helped in making the day run smoothly, especially the starter David Curley.
