NEW PRESIDENT FOR WLCGA

At the County Ladies' AGM on Wednesday, a new President was introduced. Retiring President Jane DENNICK presented the badge of office to Caroline LASSEN who will now commence 2 years of office (pictured).
Caroline has played golf for many years and is a member at Ladbrook Park GC, where she has fulfilled the role as Lady Captain. In addition, Caroline has been involved in many aspects of the County Ladies Golf including running the Winter Alliances and Inter Club League and then a more recent stint as Competitions Secretary. She has also undertaken the role of Captain of the Warwickshire Vets for a year.
In her acceptance speech, Caroline said that she was very honoured to have been asked to take on this role and looked forward to working with the Board and other Committee members together with meeting many other members of Warwickshire Golf.
County Captain, Margaret SHEEPY also welcomed two new members on to the Committee - Lesley DUFF who will join the Board of Warwickshire County Ladies Golf Association Ltd and will act as Hon Secretary and also Jane MURPHY who will be running the Winter Alliances and the Inter Club League. They are both members of Coventry Hearsall Golf Club.
