The first League match of the season was held away at Cold Ashby GC on what can only be described as the sunniest day of the year, so far.
The match was played in good spirits and the results were very close. All three Friendly matches finished on the 18th hole. The Scratch matches finished 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 and a win for Warwickshire.
Well done to all the girls that played and a special thank you to Abi Mortimer-Lane, who was unable to play because of a suspected broken thumb, but came to Northampton to encourage her team mates on.
