On 15th September the Warewickshire Girls played their final friendly match of the season at Lutterworth Golf Club, against Leicestershire. They were greeted by high winds and heavy rain but even so the games were played in great spirit and friendships were made on the course with everyone playing well despite the stormy conditions.
It was great to welcome Maria Toledo-Bailey, who played in her first match for Warwickshire and we hope she will be available to play in many more matches in the future. Sophie Thompson, as Girls Captain offered great encouragement to her team.
Team Manager, Carol O'Hare thanked all who played and congratulated her team on the 6 games to 2 win.
