On Monday 24th June the Vets played a home match against Worcestershire & Herefordshire 2nd Team. The venue was Robin Hood GC and the course was in fantastic condition, with fast, true greens. After the rain of yesterday the fairways were quite lush and if the tee shot wandered off the fairway, trouble awaited in the rough!
On a day when the wind was blowing but yet it didn't rain, all matches were played in good spirit and everyone enjoyed the course and the excellent meal served afterwards. The result was a win for Warwickshire 6 matches to 2.
